Transport & Infrastructure Department



Through our expertise in preparing construction, civil engineering and O&M contracts, we help sponsors and lenders allocate and minimize risks of delivery and performance. We help ease the process of assembling sponsor and contractor parent support packages based on market knowledge and an understanding of specific project risks.

Our Transportation and infrastructure practice advises on joint ventures for energy related projects; acquisitions and dispositions of energy-related assets and companies; comprehensive transport-related due diligence; Rail and waterways project structuring, including project development and concessions; Rail and project financing and security structures; mineral license issues; and solid minerals industry commercial agreements and transactions.



Environmental & Natural Resources Department



Environmental aspects abound for exploration and mining projects at all stages of their development and subsequent operation. Numerous development and environmental consents and permits must be obtained, often involving detailed environmental analysis, negotiations with regulatory authorities and sometimes public inquiries. Providing legal advice on these and other aspects requires the right mix of skills and experience.

Our team has advised on the environmental aspects of developing and financing projects and the environmental issues arising from the restructuring and privatization of energy companies. We have also given environmental advice on the sale and purchase of electricity undertakings (power stations, grid connections or shares in energy companies), mining projects, LNG projects, gas storage developments, oil refineries and have been involved in advising on the environmental aspects of privatization within the industry.

Oil & Gas Department

The Liquefied Natural Gas initiatives has placed the country and indeed the economic region in the gulf of guinea on the cusp of rapid expansion.
